Chloe soccer!!

Here are some pictures from Chloe's soccer game last weekend. I forgot to bring my camera to the game today!

Saturday 9/27

So today I had a nurse come out and show me how to give myself shots! Here is a picture from the first one.....

I have been looking online and I read that the longer the shot is out of the fridge before injecting, the less it will welt and sting! So I already took out my shot for tomorrow!

After the nurse left Chloe and I went to the animal shelter again! There were sooooo many black cats!!

These cats were all sitting on my lap! The one on the left has weird looking eyes. It has cross eyes!! The girl that works there said that she was born without eyelids. =(

Here is a picture of me with the 3 cats! There is another one on the ground that wanted to jump up too!!!This one on my shoulder is Dixie. She kept climbing up me if I put her down. She was VERY friendly!!! Hopefully she will go to a wonderful home!!Here is Chloe holding Eve on her lap! She liked her!

Doctor visit 9/11

I went to the neurologist yesterday and he said that he was happy with how I was doing. He said that I looked a lot better than last time he saw me. We discussed starting Copaxone. It is a daily injected medicine that is supposed to help stop the progression of MS. I am waiting for a phone call from the company to set up an appointment for one of their nurses to come and show me how to do the shot. My doc's office said that it can take about 3 weeks for them to call because it has to go through insurance and everything. Then I go back to my doc on October 28th to have my shot areas checked out and make sure I am not having any bad reactions. Not too excited about the daily shots, but it is better than the ones that will ruin my liver!!

Glasses!!!

Well last week Chloe started complaining that she couldn't see the board. I wasn't sure if I believed her because her teacher had just moved another student who couldn't see closer to the front. And knowing how Chloe likes attention I was thinking that she was just seeking more. I didn't want to ignore the vision issue though so I had the school nurse check her vision and sure enough she failed the exam. So Steve took her to the eye doctor this week and he said, yes she needs glasses! So today Chloe and I went and picked out a cute pair of frames. They should be in next week and she will have to wear them all the time. Her prescription isn't that bad but she also has astigmatism. Here is a pic of the frames she picked out. Kinda hard to see, but they are actually pink. very fitting for my princess!!

My favorite kitty!!!

This is Messa! She is my FAVORITE kitty! Isn't she adorable!!!

Chloe's first game of the season!!

Chloe had her first soccer game of the season last weekend! Her team didn't win but that is ok, they had a lot of fun! Chloe is very excited because she gets to be a forward this season! Last season she played a lot of defense, but she likes to be in the action! The first game was hard on her asthma but we are hoping that as the season goes on she will do ok.

Here is Chloe on our way to the game! She was so tired, we had to be there by 7:30 am!Chloe getting ready to practice with Steve.Warming up with her team. I'm open!!! Running! Why is her tounge sticking out???On the bench, taking a break.

Tuesday news.......

This weekend was a 3 day weekend! Yay!!! Saturday was a day full of laundry and picking up the house. Not much fun! We also had some errands to run since I had finally gotten my gift card from the school district! I also had a horrible sinus infection so I bought some all natural vitamins and nose stuff recommended by my sister Krista. It seems to be working!

Sunday was more cleaning and more laundry! But at least Najie came over and did a lot of the heavy cleaning for me. Then Sunday night we went to Aunt Lina and Uncle Monty's house for dinner. Chloe had a lot of fun swimming and playing with her cousins. Steve and I also had fun hanging out with everyone.

Monday I surprised Chloe by taking her to the animal shelter to play with the cats. She was so excited because she is always asking to go there. And of course she wanted to take some of the kittens home. We are trying to talk Steve into fostering some kittens until they are old enough to be fixed and adopted, but of course he said no! Maybe we will just do it anyway! ha ha ha

Chloe and I are going to start volunteering at the animal shelter a couple of days a month. She really likes it there! It is a nice shelter because the cats all roam around the rooms freely, no cages. They have separate rooms for kittens, shy cats, aggressive cats, and declawed cats. Chloe is not allowed in the aggressive room, but that is OK! I dont want her being attacked!

Here are some pictures from this weekend at the shelter!

This was Chloe's favorite kitten, O'Keefe. Everytime Chloe would put him down he would follow her around the room until she picked him up again! Some people came to adopt him while we were there and Chloe was like, but I like him!
These are the 2 kittens that Chloe wants to foster until they are old enough to be adopted. They were so cute! They kept talking and wanted attention, but there were signs saying not to touch them!
here is a newborn kitten that made a funny meowing noise because it was so tiny!
Here is the mama cat nursing her newborns!
This poor cat only had one eye! So sad! I wanted to take him home, he was the sweetest cat ever!
